    Thank you for your interest in Wheaton Pre-college 2025! This program offers collegiate-level learning for current sophomores, juniors and seniors, with both residential and non-residential options. The main application deadline for U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and non-U.S. citizens currently residing in the United States is Monday, May 19, 2025. For non-U.S. citizens located outside of the United States it's Monday, March 31. Students are encouraged to apply early, as space is limited.

    To complete your application, gather the following materials in advance, as the application must be submitted in a single session:

    • Contact Information: Student, Parent/Guardian #1, Parent/Guardian #2, Emergency Contact
    • Non-U.S. Citizens: Current Passport (see website for details)
    • Non-native English speakers: Proof of English language proficiency (see website for details; may be submitted after application)
    • High School Information: Name & Location
    • High School Transcript (can be submitted after application)
    • Essay (200-250 words): How will this program influence your future studies, interactions, and goals? What do you hope to contribute to the program and your peers?
    • Program & Course Selection: First, second, and third preferences
    • $500 deposit (due with application). Full payment due for applications submitted on or after April 29, 2025.  

    Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Acceptance notifications are usually sent within two weeks of submission.

    Student Information

    If you are not a citizen of the United States or permanent resident, please review the requirements outlined on the website. The following is required (in addition to all other application requirements):

    • City of birth
    • Country of citizenship
    • Country of permanent residency

    • English language proficiency (see requirements here; may be submitted after the application).
    • Commuting students: must have their own housing (with adult supervision) and transportation to/from campus.

    Based on your status, further documentation will be required prior to admittance to the program.

    Applicants whose first language is other than English must demonstrate their English proficiency in order to be considered for this program.     The Summer 2025 Program offers a Student Experience or a Student-Athlete Experience.

    • Student Experience: choose one course from the AM schedule and one course from the PM schedule
    • Student-Athlete Experience - Artistic Swimming: AM training and choose one course from the PM schedule
    • Student-Athlete Experience - Distance Running: AM training and choose one course from the PM schedule
    • Student-Athlete Experience - Strength and Conditioning: AM training and choose one course from the PM schedule
    • Student-Athlete Experience - Swimming: AM training and choose one course from the PM schedule
    • Student-Athlete Experience - Fencing: PM AM training and choose one course from the AM PM schedule
    • Student-Athlete Experience - Lacrosse (women’s): PM training and choose one course from the AM schedule
    • Student-Athlete Experience - Volleyball: PM training and choose one course from the AM schedule

    You have chosen the Student Experience, where you'll attend one course in the morning (AM schedule) and another in the afternoon (PM Schedule). Follow these guidelines:
    1. Choose your preferred course from the AM schedule. 
    2. Choose your preferred course from the PM schedule. You may choose any course from the PM schedule; however, If you are looking to immerse yourself in a particular subject area, we suggest choosing the recommended CO-COURSE for subject immersion (noted in the course options).

The first person listed under the parent section will also be considered the primary contact in the event of an emergency, will receive all relevant pre-program communications and will be our primary contact for outreach during and after the program.

    Costs and Payments

    Residential (living on campus): $5,727 (includes tuition, meals, and housing)
    Commuter: $3,000 (includes tuition only)

    Students are responsible for their own books and supplies. Lab and tech fees are included in the tuition.

    Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due with application submission. If a student is not admitted to the program, the deposit will be refunded in full. If admitted, the deposit will be credited toward the program charges. Payments above the $500 deposit or the full amount can also be made at the time of application.

    Payment Balance Due: All account balances must be paid in full by Monday, April 28, 2025. Applications submitted after April 28 and before the May 19 deadline require payment in full. Payment must be paid online at Nelnet Campus Commerce with an electronic check, ACH, or debit/ credit card(s) (payment link below).  Registration may be revoked if payment is not received by published deadlines. We reserve the right to report and retrieve any credit bureau information concerning your financial obligations to Wheaton College.

    Tuition Refund Policy: Enrollment deposit is non-refundable unless the student is not admitted to the program. Tuition payments are refunded based on the following deadlines:

    On or before April 28: 100% refund of tuition (minus the deposit)
    April 29 - May 12: 50% refund (minus the deposit)
    On or after May 13: 0% refund

    Agreement to Terms and Conditions

    We (the student and the parent/guardian) certify that we have reviewed all the information about the Pre-college Program at Wheaton College contained on the Wheaton College website; acknowledge that we had an opportunity to ask any questions that we may have had about the information; and confirm that we understand it. We understand that all program costs must be paid in full by the published deadlines in order to participate in the program. We agree to comply with all rules and policies of the program, and of Wheaton College, including the refund policy and financial agreement as outlined here above. This is inclusive of all Covid-19 policies, procedures and protocols. For additional information, please visit the Pre-College website here.

    By signing below, we acknowledge that the information we provided on this form is correct and that falsifying any information may result in disciplinary action or dismissal without any refunds. We also acknowledge that completion of this form serves as an application to the program and does not guarantee enrollment. If the student is not admitted to the program, or if the student is unable to enroll because the program is full or has been canceled, they will be refunded their full payment. If the student is admitted to the program, the information provided on this form will be used for registration purposes. While we will make every effort to enroll the student in their selected courses, enrollment is subject to course availability, including any potential cancellations or full courses.

The parent who is listed as the approver for the application (same as Parent 1 above) will be listed as the PRIMARY PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN for the following:

    • Application and registration approval
    • Billing and payments
    • Refunds (If applicable)
